Cereal Prawn

hi all, i've a certain fren, a nice decent bloke who every now and than, fail to refrain from himself to be one hilarious and irritatin (to certain ppl, i belive it has to do with someone- C) but still fun to be with. He always bug me for ceral prawn so i thought..maybe i leave the recipe here..he can do it himself..wa bish* Here goes:

Cereal Prawn

Of coz u gonna need some prawns nt jus any prawns. Tiger prawns of decent size will do, if u have additional money, u can go for white prawns which r bigger.
Clean them and using a sharp knife, slit down the back of the shell to romove the black stuff inside.
With the shells on, deep fry the prawns in oil. Not too cook, approx. a min will done. Prawns cook fast so dun overdo them.

Next you have to prepare the oat or cereal..watever u wan to call it.
Melt some butter, an egg yolk ( no need also can), some chopped parsley and some chilli. Compine all together. (jus a little for some fire but nt too much, unless u r my other fren. READ FROG PORRIDGE )

Than heat up a wok, throw the prawns in, now they r almost cook so u dun wan to leave the prawns in the wok for too long. Throw in the oat mixture u did earlier, jus do a gentle toss.
The oat dun need veri long to be done.

Lastly serve hot with a nice big smile on ur face. Now u can go impress someone too..isn't veri hard.

Chery QQ

Went to Vertex Automoblie on sunday cause Winnie dear wan to test drive the Chery QQ. A cute and perky little car i must say. Despite made in China ( a great advancing country) the QQ doesn't seem to lack quality. Able to hold its own against other makes but still, a long way b4 it can compete with the japanese market head on, but of coz this might change in the next few years.

The moment we enter the show room we were greeted by this little thingy. The chery "winniemoblie" QQ . And i can't resist but snap a couple of pics. It has my gf's name written all over it. U can't help but adore this cute little QQ and best of all, its for sale too. But we didn't ask the price.





















Later we went in a test drive, spoke to the sales person about the paper work and decided to order a red OPC (off peak car). Well we did went into a lot of considering cause winnie can't make up her mind on the colour. Should it be red, orange or yellow? We wanted yellow first but no stock. So in the end Winnie decided on the red. Veri her colour.

Right now we r just wating for the bank loan to be approve. If done it will be here by next month. And i know Winnie loves this car cause its really..jus cute. Nothing else can describe it. And other thing is the price, veri attractive and economical. No wonder this little car has been spawing around in our streets.

Frog Porridge

I went for Benny Hinn's healing service and it ended at 11pm. Mel mssg me during the service askin where am i and i replied i'm in service. Earlier kel asked me whether wan to go eat later since he has the van. Therefore i mssg mel to get kel and see whether the supper is on.

After confirmation and the service, i went to meet up with the rest of the guys. The Soggy Bottom Boys rolled out is a nice cool van. Picked up Sin mun and her sister and winnie and headed out to geylang for supper.

Mel wanted you tiao da wang, but when we got there and saw the crowd, i told the guys lets change to G7 frog porridge. And when we gt there while ordering, ( kel as always the only one that eat chillis for breakfast) out of the six there only kel wanted the spicy frogs.

The waitress says if we order 4 we get 3 free. And we thought its not fair, as kel will have all three spicy frogs to himself whereas the rest of us has to share 4 frogs. So we asked whether can change it to 5 non-spicey and 2 spicey for kel and she said ok.

To our dismay, the waiteress forgot to tell the kitchen and kel ended up with 3 frogs with extra chilli ( as per his request) and the 5 of us had 4 frogs.

Many laughs at the table, we headed home after supper, even though kel still suggest to go marina south play game, well that will just have to be another day.

Happy Birthday to Me~

Celebrated my 24th hatchday at my place with my gf Winnie and several close frens.

They were :The soggy bottom boys, nintendo ( codename for someone) TL (Mel's krptonite), the annointed one Sher and last but not the least..my love one Winnie (not) the Pooh bear :)

It was a small affair with great fun and lots of catchin up. Esp with Sher as she is church staff, 24/7 veri busy. Lots of laugh at the table, with mel (as usual) aka judas providing the entertainment.

I whipped up a meal for the guys to enjoy . A basic 2 course meal.

Mushroom soup with garlic bread
-----------------------------------
Beef steak and sutchi fillet (surf & turf)
Ratatouille, pan seared asparagus and mashed potato
Glazed with brown sauce ( own concoction)

Hope u guys enjoyed the meal, few of them were fighting the uphill task of showin the steak who the boss is cause i did medium rare to medium doneness.Whenver they tried to cut it, the meat bounces back in protest. Veri chewy.




It was a day to remember.

Guitar shopping

I set out today to purchase a new guitar for myself. I had 2 models in mind- the epiphone Dove or a Tanglewood.

After a long search, swee lee music company is the only place that bring in epiphones so there i was checking out the place. I was at the bras besah branch, went to the counter and enquired about the epiphone dove, they quoted my $650 before discount but the stock is at the warehouse in sims place.

So i had to make the way down to the warehouse, when i got there, i saw the epiphone dove hanging there. But to my dismay, its not $650 but $712! This epiphone dove a good guit made in korea but the price is steep for the build. After some considering decide to put it on hold and go check other places.

I wanted to go to pennisula plaza to see the tanglewood ( the other model i was considering) . I took bus 64 to town but decided to take a stop at paradiz centre first to look at other brand (simon & patrick) before heading to pennisula.

I was greeted by a friendly staff at the shop ( turn out to be my fren marcus who is workin there) and i tried some models there. After some serious considering and sound tests.

I've decided....

I didn't make the trip to pennisula...
