A double date

After cell on sunday, Dear has no plans and ask me where are we goin.So i also no clue so i ask kel see whether wan to ask sinman to come along. Dear says no problem so we went on our double date - two couples in one red chery QQ went to marina south.

The program of the day:

- Bowling ( which i won :P)

- Arcade ( outrun 2 & drum mania!!!)

- Chong pang BBQ ( stuffed silly with food)

Affandi's wedding

Few months ago, i received an email and veri much to my surprise, a schoolmate and a good fren of mine is getting married!

To think that we were studyin and foolin around in school, now he's becomin a married man. And the beautiful lady he's marryin is Brenda, a korean studyin at shatec too. So that makes us all schoolmates.

We guys were kinda like sayin he's gt a good catch in brenda and somemore..she's a korean! And of all the guys available in school she chose Affandi so here's the wedding at his house in bedok.



The couple here..Affandi looks great in his costume and brenda..well i wonder how heavy is her head piece..cause she can't seem to turn her head.








As this is my first malay wedding, i was kinda lost and dunno what to expect nor how to behave. But was great, everyone was veri nice and i had a great lunch. Veri good malay food.

The celebrations went all the way till 9pm but i couldn't stay till that late. But was cool, my fren has gotten married and ready told me next 3 years have 3 kids :P

Congrats Jo!!!!

On 7th July 2007 (thats 7.7.7)

Our dearest big sister and mentor to many of us has finally tied the knot to a wonderful man.

the day started at 9am ( suppose to be 830am but kel and i were late) at our church building at Jurong west. Jo appointed kel as the chief usher for her solomization service at church. And guess who kel got to assist him in running the service...



We were both ushers in the past but have since moved on to other things...but i think we still hasn't lost the touch..haha..great workin with u brother..





After the solomization was a lunch reception for all..than kel and i went to change into sumthing less formal..and went to expo for our church service..

As Jo's dinner starts at 730, we left service bit earlier and rushed down to the venue. But was met with heavy jams as its the weekend plus NDP rehearsels at the marina area. After delays and when everyone was there..the dinner started at 8 plus.





The dinner was good with many old frens coming together plus good food.



This pic is special, about 7-8 years ago the 3 of us took a similar picture together during a dinner and dance organised by Jo herself. So we took a photo in the same position as that faithful day.



Another special picture, here are the formal N06 members under Jo 7 years ago. We were sheer kids than but now everyone has got older.

A rude road bully in a form of a Merc cab driver

In respond to my buddy's blog regarding his little "misadventure" with a cab driver.
I just had one jus a few days ago just outside my house along Riverview Drive. If you read my blog before, this is not the first time i had problems with local cab drivers.

So here goes, this is what happened...

Dear is coming over to my place to pick me up and we were goin out to meet another fren of her's. When she picked me up, she did a detour and ended up behind a few blocks near Rivervale mall. And i asked her whats wrong. She told me to note down this particular Merc Cab's number plate.

After dear explained to me. I realised how rude the cab driver was.

Dear wanted to do U turn to my place, as she was in the left lane , she needed to change to the right lane. She checked her mirror and there was the merc cab but was still a distance away. So dear did the change gradually. But the cab driver instead of slowing down, came right behind dear's car, beeped his horn. So dear turned away to see wats wrong, and what she saw angered her. The cab driver actually showed her the middle finger! And thats not all, the cab driver continued to tailgate dear so closely as if trying to run her off the road.

This also upset me. The next day i called up Comfort Cab personnally who operates the Mercs Cabs. And did a complain, comfort apologised and said that such action will not be condorned and will send an investigating officer to check the driver.

What a horrible experience. I never knew i've seen such things but than,some taxi drivers sumtimes do stupid and inconsiderate actions to anger the other road users.

Just terrible and a shame.
